TUESDAY LUNCH
The Tuesday Lunch venture was started in 1999 by Mrs Enid Wells, a past resident of Bradford Peverell, who at the beginning organized and cooked the lunches.
With the exception of August and September, the lunches are held in Bradford Peverell Village Hall on the First Tuesday of each month from 12.30pm to 3pm. The present cost of the meal is £2.50. Everyone is welcome to attend, however, TRANSPORT IS NOT PROVIDED.
There are two regular cooks who have both attained a 5 grade (very good) hygiene rating from Dorset County Council. They are assisted by two other regular helpers, and if necessary, more volunteers are available.
